Arjun Kapoor (born June 26, 1985) is an Indian film actress starring in Hindi movies. The son of filmmakers Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor, he initially worked as an assistant director in his father's works No Entry (2005) and Wanted (2009). In 2012, he made his acting debut through the action romance Ishaqzaade, and since then, the crime drama Gunday (2014), the adult romantic comedy 2 States (2014), the English road comedy Finding Fanny (2014), and the satire Ki & Ka (2016).

Arjun Kapoor was born on June 26, 1985 in Maharashtra Bombay to Hindi filmmaker Boney Kapoor and entrepreneur Mona Shourie Kapoor in a Punjab family. He is the grandson of film director Surinder Kapoor. He is the nephew of actors Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and producer Sandeep Marwah, and is the first cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor, actors Mohit Marwah, Harshvardhan Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor. He has a younger sister, Anshula Kapoor. Actor Sridevi was his stepmother and has two younger sisters, Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor. He was 11 years old when his father broke up with his mother.

In his first movie in 2014, Arjun Kapoor is a crime action film starring Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, teaming up with Yash Raj Films for the third straight on Gunday. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film saw him and Singh portray two bandits with a bold attitude falling into a dancer (Chopra). He described his personality as "jerky", acting as a "temporal heat".
