Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon (born July 27, 1990) is an Indian actress who stares mainly in Hindi films.

Sanon made her acting debut in 2014 as Su Kumar's Telugu Movie 1: Psychological Thriller Nenokkadine. Accordingly, she played Samera, a journalist who is interested in the love of Mahesh Babu's character. This film received mixed reviews from critics. A reviewer of The Times of India wrote that Sanon "looks pretty" and "works well." A reviewer at Sify.com said she "looks gorgeous" and thought her performance was "good" for a rookie.

Sanon released two films in 2017. She first starred with Sushant Singh Rajput in Dinesh Vijan's directorial debut Raabta, which tells the story of a reincarnated star cross lover. In a sneaky review, Rediff.com's Sukanya Verma labeled the film "embarrassing and stupid", but noted Sanon's "Statue and Lively Being". It wasn't good commercially.

Sanon was born on July 27, 1990 in New Delhi to Rahul Sanon, a chartered accountant and Geeta Sanon, a professor of physics at the University of Delhi. Her family is Punjabi. She has a younger sister named Nupur Sanon. She attended Delhi Public School, RK Puram, and later earned a bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in Noida.

She worked as a model for a while after earning an engineering degree from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. Psychological Thriller 1: After making her Telugu film debut as Nenokkadine (2014), Sanon won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance recording her first project in Hindi film in Sabbir Khan's action comedy Heropanti (2014).

The release of Sanon's second Telugu film came with Dohchay in the crime film Sudheer Varma, co-starred by Naga Chaitanya.
